Government spending, where does it go? Sometimes it seems like nobody knows Budgets get passed, and the money flows But do we see the benefits? Nobody knows Time is ticking Tik tok tik tok The government spending, it never ends Millions of dollars, they always pretend It's for the people, but where does it go? In their pockets, they'll never know It's time to take a stand, time to speak up We won't be silenced, we won't be stuck We want transparency, we want to tell the truth It's time for leaders to get in to the booth Time is ticking Tik tok tik tok The rich get richer, the poor get poorer It's hard to survive when living on the corner The government bails out big banks and corporations But what about the people, where's our salvation? The people all hope they will get some clarification It's time for a new era, where fairness and justice will meet It's time to take a stand, time to speak up We won't be silenced, we won't be stuck We want transparency, we want to tell the truth It's time for leaders to get in to the booth Time is ticking Tik tok tik tok It's time to take a stand, time to speak up We won't be silenced, we won't be stuck It's time to take a stand, time to speak up We won't be silenced, we won't be stuck It's time to take a stand, time to speak up We won't be silenced, we won't be stuck We want transparency, we want to tell the truth It's time for leaders to get in to the booth Tik tok tik tok
